A
Geography Day for a Muslim Family!
(This
web-page is updated to reflect current schedules in our home as each Umm
submits the info to ArabesQ.)
As Salaam Alaikum,
Well I was busy this morning.
My oldest daughter is bored with her geography studies and wants more freedom
to study whatever she wants. I told her that would be okay but could
we have some guidelines to go by. She agreed and this is what we
came up with together. She is excited about it and so am I.
Do I need to add anything
to it? Any suggestions?
I asked her that when she
does start on this to keep it in a general area, maybe (?) because that
would be holding her back. We were looking at past issues of National
Geographic magazine and she is thinking about maybe doing one on "The Lost
City of Petra" in Jordan, I believe that is where it is. And also
the Clay Soldiers of China. My daughter is a mini-expert on anything
Egyptian and Greek, mashallah, and wants to explore and research more into
this.
Anyway, here is my geography
guideline.
Jazak Allah Khair,
Mariam Abdullah
